The Predator is the second character from a horror movie franchise to be featured as a Field Order in the game the previous DLC, Onslaught, allowed the player to become Michael Myers from the Halloween series.

Devastation was made available for download on March 6, 2014. One of the four standard maps, "Ruins", features a special Field Order that, once obtained, allows the player to become a Yautja and stalk their opponents around the map. Devastation, the second DLC for Call of Duty: Ghosts, includes four new multiplayer maps, a new weapon and a new map for the Extinction co-op campaign.
